Recital by students of the Accademia Amsterdam Baroque chamber music course “Gloria & Gioia”

The results of the "tailor-made" music course in July 2026 were so convincing that the participants wished to perform more. And so we did: an additional performance will take place in the medieval centre of Deruta (in Umbria, Italy). The programme features famous vocal arias by Vivaldi and Handel from the "Gloria" and "The Messiah", together with beautiful chamber sonatas by their contemporaries.

Accademia Amsterdam organises (music) courses in the Netherlands and Italy on request. No request is too much for us: we can organise music courses such as this one for a single participant, or for groups of friends, choirs or (amateur) ensembles.

In the inspiring setting of the Regional Ceramics Museum, we will present chamber music and arias by baroque composers. This course focused on interpretation, playing and singing in a chamber music ensemble. The participants are all advanced amateurs.
