16 Friends stayed in the "borgo" of the arts, Deruta (Umbria), to sing and enjoy the good life. Our Italian singing coach prepared and rehearsed music by Italian composers with them. At the end of the week there was a casual performance in an inspiring historic location. We organized trips to Perugia and Lake Trasimeno, and an excursion on e-bikes. Lovers of the Italian cuisine took cooking classes. A common closing buffet on the “piazza” completed the week.

Artistic director of Accademia Amsterdam Onno Verschoor, “camped” for three days last autumn in a cold church: the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht. Together with city organist Cor Ardesch he recorded a special CD, in which the organ is assigned a role as a chamber music instrument.
In music by Bach, Telemann and Bach's colleague Krebs, the richness of sound of the organ is fully explored. In an intimate way it mixes and competes with the oboe, the oboe d'amore and the flute.
