Who can attend?
Do you want some pro tips to prepare yourself for the summer courses? Do you want to follow extra lessons when it suits you best? Are you stuck at home and need some inspiration to make music, to use your artistic skills or to prepare a new recipe?
We offer you the opportunity to have professional coaching by one of our tutors or a coach at your choice (if available). There are many channels and courses on-line, but not many of them offer individual and personal one-on-one lessons. We have our experienced tutors available for you to guide you individually.
It is possible to have just one session, when you just need some tips to go on with your musical or artistic activity. But you can subscribe to a series of lessons as well, if you take 10 lessons of 45 minutes each (or more), we give you a reduction. We welcome musicians and artists of any level, whether you are an amateur or a professional. Music students who need coaching on interpretation or technique, are welcome to follow on-line courses on the highest level by our professional and experienced tutors.
How does it work?
You can conveniently have your lessons from home. You need only a computer, tablet or smart-phone with audio and video enabled. You can either use Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp, depending where you are comfortable with. Our tutors have experience with on-line teaching and will give you advise if necessary. It is always possible to get technical assistance or advice by contacting Accademia Amsterdam.
Standard lessons typically take 45 minutes each session, but you can change this in consultation with your tutor. On our website you find a detailed overview of our on-line courses. You can subscribe easily by filling in the on-line form, which will open when you choose one of the desired courses above. Alternatively, you can e-mail or call us to express your wishes and to subscribe. When your subscription is confirmed, your tutor will contact you within five working days to make an appointment for your (first) lesson. See our terms and conditions for more details.

If you register for 10 or more sessions, you will receive a 5% reduction on the fee of the course.
Youth up to 18 years and students who study in Italy, receive 10% extra reduction on the total fee. Students need to show us their student card. Please, use coupon code YOUTH-OL when you register on-line.
Fees are incl. 21% VAT and excl. 5% management. Tutors might change the duration in consultation.
Payments are made through this website. You schedule your lesson(s) directly with your tutor after receiving a confirmation of your registration.

Onno Verschoor studied recorder with at the Conservatory in Zwolle, the Netherlands. In 1984 he decided to specialize in the baroque oboe, initially studying with Taka Kitazato and then with Ku Ebbinge at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 1989 Onno Verschoor graduated in baroque oboe and historical performance, also obtaining his recorder soloist diploma with distinction.
During her modern flute studies, Mirjam van der Maas became interested in the baroque repertoire and its authentic performance. This prompted her to take traversing lessons with Jed Wentz after her final exams, which resulted in a study as a performing musician at the Sweelinck Conservatory. Since then she regularly performs with “Accademia Amsterdam” and “Florilegium Musicum”, both in passion concerts and as a soloist.
Mariëtte Holtrop studied after her solo diploma for violin, baroque violin with Sigiswald Kuijken. Then she played regurarly with conductors as Philippe Herreweghe, René Jacobs, Gustav Leohnard, William Christie a.o.
Jan Pieter van Coolwijk studied violin and baroque violin at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Jacques Holtman, Vera Beths and Lucy van Dael. As musician he works in Europe, particularly in France, Spain, Germany and, of course, the Netherlands. He has international professional experience including the Nederlands Balletorkest, Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam, La Grande Ecurie, Académie Sainte Cécile, Münchener Monteverdi Ensemble, Rheinische Kantorei, Nederlandse Bachvereniging and The New Consort (Utrecht) with Frans Brüggen, Sigiswald Kuijken, William Christie and Jean Claude Malgoire. Jan Pieter is concertmaster at baroque orchestra Accademia Amsterdam, the Spanish ensemble Capella de Ministrers (Valencia), with which he made a concert tour in Mexico, and the French baroque orchestra Le Capriccio Français.
Wilma van der Wardt studied cello and viola da gamba with Ben de Ligt at the College of Music in Groningen, The Netherlands. She graduated with special distinction for chamber music. She followed courses and master-classes with cellists William Pleeth and Jaap ter Linden, and with viola da gamba players Jordi Savall and Wieland Kuijken.
Having been awarded with the prestigious ARAM (Associate Royal Academy of Music) title for his ‘significant contribution to the music profession’,
Antonio Magarelli, born in Molfetta (Bari), is graduated in piano, music pedagogy, choral music and choir direction, band instrumentation and conducting at the conservatory of Bari and Monopoli. He studied composition and continued his study conducting and interpretation of the repertoire with Peter Neumann, Gary Graden, Nicole Corti, Javier Busto, Bo Holten, Paul Smith. He attended the International Academy for Choral Conductors and Singers in Fano and the Laboratory of choral conducting at the Conservatory in Monopoli. He studied singing with Claudio Cavina and Steve Woodbury.
Marc Gerretsen graduated at the Academy Minerva in Groningen (The Netherlands). Typically, his fascination with illusionism: create spatiality on a flat surface.Knowing which form and display this in the second and or third dimension. His preference is realistic art (the feast of recognition) but that doesn't mean that there is no way to underlying abstract elements.
Cinzia Ubaldi was born in Rome. In 1981 she graduated as engineer of the hotel business at IPATS (Professional State Institute for Touristic Hotel Manager) in Formia in the province of Latina. She has experience as a cashier at the Sheraton hotel in 1983 and then at the Hilton Cavalieri in Rome. In 1985 Cynthia has lived in Germany where she had a Gasthaus in the Elzas with her husband.
