In collaboration with our partners in Umbria, including the Archaeological Museum of Perugia and the “Musica dal Mondo” festival, we organise our yearly courses singing, music, baroque dance, cooking and drawing/painting.
To avoid the heat and fully enjoy the beautiful medieval building of the Archaeological Museum of Perugia, we plan our Courses in Italy earlier in the summer season: from Sunday, May 28 to Thursday, June 1, 2023, with an extra performance on Friday 2 June.
Collaborating with the museum, the theme for 2023 will be: "The Mother Figure in the Baroque Arts", from Mary to Venus; female baroque composers & painters.
The music and dance courses are meant to improve your vocal and instrumental skills, enjoy (choral) singing and chamber music and learn baroque dance. Music students get special master classes by our experienced tutors to add important experience to their curriculum. Everyone can participate at their own level. The program may include, for example: vocal and instrumental music from: Monteverdi's “Vespro della beata Vergine” or dances from Lully's “La Naissance de Venus”.
The art & cooking courses are open to interested people of all levels and ages, including children, friends and partners of participants taking other courses.
Don't hesitate to contact us for detailed information or special wishes.
